Rules and Regulations

All residents and guests at the Vintage are obligated to follow the Rules and Regulations of the community.

Our Rules document reflects our governing documents and the laws of Maui County with regard to residentially zoned properties.

If you are a resident of the Vintage or are considering residency, it’s important to read through the document and understand what is required of you.

Some items particularly important to note:

All residents should meet with the site manager as soon as possible upon move in.
  • The Site Manager will have a short form for you to fill out with your contact information and can help with any questions you have or help you need.
  • The exterior of Vintage homes and the Landscaping is the responsibility of the Association.  No changes can be made without Board approval.  There are forms to request changes or modifications located in the Rules documents attached.  You also can obtain these forms from the Site Manager who can help you with your request.
  • Renting your house?  We only allow rentals that are 180 days or more (long-term) as required by Vintage governing documents and by Maui County Code. Also if you lease your home you must lease it entirely.   The site manager will need a copy of the lease though specific dollar amounts of a long-term lease are not required.
  • Up to two pets are welcome in every household though, if you are renting, your landlord has the last word on this.
  • Maui has a leash law that we follow at the Vintage and throughout the Maui community.
The recreation area, barbeque, exercise facility and pool are available to all residents year-round.  You also can reserve the area for parties of up to 20 persons though other residents are still allowed use in the areas.  See the Site Manager for more information.
